Become a Humanities Ambassador

The College of Humanities is seeking motivated undergraduate students to participate as Humanities Ambassadors. As a Humanities Ambassador, you will engaging in weekly outreach and student support events and activities as well as occasional special events throughout the semesters. You will learn about student opportunities in the college and help represent the college across campus and in recruiting events. If you're looking for a way to make a positive impact on your community and enhance your academic and professional pursuits, then we encourage you to apply today!

Benefits:

  • $1,000 scholarship divided among the Fall and Spring semesters 
    • Must be enrolled in 9 or more credit hours for each semester to receive the scholarship
  • Leadership and professional experience

  • Meet fellow ambassadors, be part of a team, and have fun!

Program Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly Humanities programing
  • Participate in occasional special events hosted by the college
  • Collaborate with other ambassadors from across the college
  • Help promote the College of Humanities on campus and via social media 
  • Monthly ambassador meeting
  • Possible public speaking engagements 
  • Some ambassadors will have the opportunity to work hourly during the summer semester

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current undergraduate student, Humanities major or minor, and in good academic standing
  • Must be enrolled as a student with 9 or more credit hours for the Fall and Spring semester
  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the Humanities disciplines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
